Job Opportunity: Employment Support Professional
Role OverviewMater Health seeks an Employment Support Professional to join the Clarence Street Team, providing support to young people in the PIVOT vocational training program.
Main Responsibilities- Assist young individuals facing substance use concerns in navigating barriers to vocational training.
- Support participants in completing a Certificate II in Hospitality.
- Deliver youth drug and alcohol interventions using harm reduction and strength-based approaches.
- Collaborate with other services in the youth and employment sectors.
- Provide individual counseling, advocacy, and support to young people in the day program.
- Affiliate Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification in Alcohol and Other Drugs / Youth Work / Community Services.
- Prior experience in working within the hospitality industry.
