Unlock your potential and make a positive impact in the lives of young people as a Youth Employment Coach. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about empowering young people to achieve their goals and aspirations.
The Transition to Work program provides intensive pre-employment support to improve the work readiness of young people and help them into work or education. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for actively engaging with both employers and young people, managing caseloads, and providing individualized support to help them secure sustainable employment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with disengaged young people and ability to build rapport that leads to successful outcomes
- Ability to communicate, liaise, and build networks with schools, education, employment/industry, and community agencies in a professional manner
- Results driven, passionate about performance, and able to meet/exceed KPIs
- Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to understand appropriate behaviours with young people and those with diverse needs and/or backgrounds
