Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our residential care team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care within a residential setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that promotes positive relationships.
  • You will have the ability to work within a trauma-informed framework that makes a real difference with young people who have complex needs and challenging behaviors.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care), or equivalent qualification.
  • A valid driver's license and Australian working rights.
  • A willingness to complete a Child Safety Check and obtain necessary qualifications.

Skills and Experience:

  • Availability to work varied shifts across a 24/7 roster model, including awake nights and sleepovers.
  • Passion for supporting young people who have experienced trauma and disability.
