Ecological Restoration Supervisor Position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an ecological restoration supervisor. This role will involve supervising teams undertaking ecological restoration activities in various ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to schedule work effectively. Additionally, they should have high levels of communication and interpersonal skills.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will supervise, motivate, guide, support and direct the activities, work practices and techniques of an environment field team undertaking environmental restoration and light construction activities. Ensuring quality standards are maintained is crucial in this role.

Site and risk assessments will be conducted for all sites where work takes place. In conjunction with project officers/regional coordinators, you will schedule and prioritize work activities and ensure adequate resources and equipment are available for efficient service delivery.

Record keeping and reporting duties will also form part of your responsibilities, including preparing and submitting work records and reports as required by funding bodies, managers and others.

Liaising and developing linkages with land managers, project partners, care groups, community groups and the public will be essential to promoting our activities and services.
