  • Based at Macquarie University Incubator, Hadenfeld Avenue, Macquarie University, Wallumattagal Campus

The Role

The Administration Assistant (Incubation and Entrepreneurship) will assist in the administrative tasks of the Macquarie University Incubator space, including the onboarding of startups and scaleup company members, assisting in financial administration of the incubator, and support client entrepreneurs within the incubator to build the University innovation community.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Provide administrative support to the Macquarie University Incubator Team.

  • Assist with the onboarding of startups and scaleup companies into the MQ Incubator and DeepTech Incubator, including co-ordination of the signing of membership and code of conduct agreements, OneID applications, adding and offboarding startups and scaleups from our various platforms, and organising cohort review meetings.

  • Collaborate with the incubator team to update and maintain the websites and other communication channels for the Incubator and wider RIE team.

  • Assist with the Incubators finance administration requirements

  • Receive, resolve, refer and/or escalate queries in collaboration with the Incubator team.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of system and process improvements to enhance business practices within the Incubator team.

You're a driven professional with a degree or equivalent experience in business administration, who is ready to thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment. You have a strong digital fluency, are comfortable with online platforms, and are proficient in Microsoft Office and database tools and approach tasks with professionalism and a collaborative spirit.
