Job Summary:

Weir Minerals is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to provide aftermarket sales support for all Weir equipment in the Murchison region of Western Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with clients, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and driving growth and retention in the aftermarket business.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with our sales team to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that meets the needs of our clients in the Murchison region.
  • Develop and maintain accurate customer business records and CRM tools to ensure seamless communication and collaboration with clients.
  • Conduct market analysis and research to identify opportunities for growth and expansion in the aftermarket business.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and delivery of high-quality results.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective implementation of sales initiatives.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry processes, competitors, and commercial influences to inform sales strategies and tactics.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a sales role within the minerals processing industry or similar, managing multiple products and services.
  • Trade certificate or degree in Mechanical Engineering is desirable.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin would be a significant advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport.
  • Proven ability and experience presenting proposals to customers.
  • Able to problem solve and be an active listener.
  • High level of initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability and drive to follow through with required actions.

  • An estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
