Caring Support Specialist

At KinCare, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in the Hornsby area. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.
About the Role:
- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and household tasks, to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
- Assist with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating and independence.
- Deliver personal care services, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional needs.
- Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, promoting mental well-being and reducing stress.
- Transport customers to appointments and provide social support to combat loneliness and isolation.
- Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, requiring specialized attention and support.
About You:
- You have 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care and supporting vulnerable adults.
- You are passionate about assisting our aged community and making a positive impact on their lives.
- You hold a current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, with travel being an essential part of the role.
- You are able to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems, and know when to seek guidance from your Manager.
- You are available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend shifts required.
