Role Overview

The Personal Care Assistant will work in a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and services to residents living in three houses over two levels.

  • Key responsibilities include delivering resident-focused care using a person-centred approach, adhering to care plans, Aged Care Standards and organisational policies/procedures.
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation relevant to resident care, collaborating with other staff members to ensure seamless information sharing.
Job Requirements
  • A certificate in aged care, ideally at Certificate III or IV level, is highly valued.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to operate within a team environment and document progress according to requirements is crucial.
  • Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care principles is expected.
