The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to work on exciting projects making a real difference in our communities. You will be responsible for leading multi-discipline design teams and managing the overall delivery of designs to time and quality.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in water and wastewater design for conveyance pipelines, hydraulic structures, pump stations, service reservoirs, and water facilities across Civil, Structural, Mechanical & Electrical disciplines.

  1. Lead multi-discipline design teams and be accountable for the delivery of high-quality design outputs.
  2. Work collaboratively with the teams to manage the overall delivery of designs to time and quality and guide project delivery to achieve high levels of client satisfaction.
  3. Manage Engineering governance processes (design reviews, change management, request for information, validation and verification, etc., related to the design).

About You

You will ideally be a Chartered Professional Engineer with a bachelor's engineering degree in the relevant discipline and gained a strong understanding of the water industry, with a focus on water utilities/water treatment industry standards and best practices.

Strong technical writing skills are imperative, as is the ability to communicate with and relate to a wide range of stakeholders. Highly organised with outstanding technical and communication skills you'll have the desire and ability to lead and mentor a team and drive successful project outcomes.
