Beca HunterH2O is the Australian water business of a leading independent advisory, design and engineering consultancy that provides services to healthy and sustainable communities worldwide.

We are seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer with experience in the design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, pump stations and conveyance pipelines.

About You
  • A relevant degree in civil (structural) engineering such as a Bachelor's degree or higher qualification
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design, including site investigations, calculations, modelling and preparation of reports and specifications
  • Knowledge of safety in design, constructability and operational practices, as well as relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
  • Experience in managing small to medium-sized engineering design projects
  • Commitment to working safely within our HSEQ systems and best practice frameworks
About the Role
  • Design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, pump stations and conveyance pipelines, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards
  • Review of project requirements, site assessments, calculations, simulations, oversight of drafting and creation of technical documentation
  • Building effective client relationships by understanding client needs and providing solutions that meet their objectives
