**Expert Water Infrastructure Designer Wanted**

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the structural design of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pump stations, pipelines, treatment plants, and more.

This role will play a crucial part in delivering innovative, sustainable, and future-ready water solutions across Australia. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team nationally to share knowledge and drive best practices.

  • Lead the structural design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure technical quality from concept through to detailed design.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to share knowledge and drive best practices.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers to develop technical and professional skills.
  • Contribute to proposals and bids with a focus on innovative, client-centric solutions.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong hands-on design experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Proven experience in water infrastructure design, particularly water retaining structures.
  • Familiarity with relevant design tools (e.g., 12D), WSAA codes, and Australian Standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop clear, high-quality technical reports.
  • A collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is highly regarded.
