Immersive Guest Experiences Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Immersive Guest Experiences Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in operating and maintaining the night walk attraction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the attraction to ensure smooth operation across all zones, including nights and weekends.

This includes handling a variety of AV systems throughout the Sanctuary, assisting with installations, maintenance, and upgrades. The specialist will also support events at our venue, such as conferences, gala dinners, and special functions.

Opportunities to showcase skills in programming, tuning PA systems, and utilizing control systems and automation to create immersive guest experiences will be available.

Quick troubleshooting and resolving technical issues will be essential to minimize disruptions.

A strong relationship builder, the specialist will maintain detailed records of installations, services, and equipment, and help develop maintenance schedules and asset registries to ensure AV systems operate efficiently and effectively.

About the Role

  • Expertise in lighting and DMX programming, show cue programming
  • Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot various AV systems
  • Equipment maintenance and repairs; soldering skills are highly regarded
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities for multi-system problems
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends to support the night walk and onsite events
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • A valid driver's license; additional certifications such as rigging tickets or EWP licenses are highly desirable
  • Willingness to work outdoors in environments with native wildlife such as birds and reptiles
