Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building a strong and highly regarded Risk Management team.
  • Drive and maintain a strong and resilient culture of risk and compliance across the business.
  • Provide effective Line 2 independent review and challenge across Insignia's Client Wellbeing business.
  • Provide risk management expertise and best practice advice aligned to the businesses' risk frameworks and risk appetite.
  • Line 2 oversight of business planning activities, cultivating and fostering enduring relationships with the business.
  • Work fluently across other Risk Management functions for end-to-end visibility.
  • Deliver insightful risk reporting, including to Board and Board Committees.
  • Work collaboratively within a small team.
  • Maintain existing risk tools within the relevant operational risk & compliance system(s).
  • Undertake and assist with regulatory reviews, as required.
  • Contribute to industry consultations, as required.

What You Will Bring:

  • Significant experience in a similar role, ideally within the Financial Services sector.
  • Knowledge of risk and compliance principles and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of the Financial Services sector.
  • Understanding of risks associated with multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social media and traditional platforms.
  • Developed commercial experience and judgement through prior experience in advisory/business partnership roles, with strategic capability.
  • Strong analytical, verbal and report writing skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem solve in a complex environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to drive behavioural and mindset changes, across all levels within the organisation and build trusted relationships.
  • Actively promote the Risk Management brand through behaviours and cultures as well as through adding value to the business.
  • Ability to impart knowledge and experience through coaching.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law or a related discipline.
