Job Title: Strategic People Advisor

As a strategic advisor, you will help shape the future of our organization by partnering with leaders to align people strategies with business objectives.

  • Develop and implement effective people management strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Provide expert advice on employment legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage complex grievances and performance management related matters.

About the Role

  • Act as a strategic advisor to a designated client group, partnering with directors, managers, and supervisors to enhance people management capabilities.
  • Deliver high-quality advice and services across a broad spectrum, encompassing both strategic and operational aspects.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and engaged workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute effective people management strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Offer expert guidance on industrial awards, employment laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Handle complex employee relations and performance management issues.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar role or solid contemporary knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Able to influence and negotiate effectively to achieve desirable outcomes.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
