This 12-month parental leave contract role will play a pivotal role in aligning our organisational objectives with our people strategy, driving the development and implementation of programs and initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in strategic HR, with experience in project development and management. They will be a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, able to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with leaders to understand business objectives and developing people strategies that support those goals while promoting our EVP and other key frameworks.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance employee experience, productivity, and engagement through effective P&C initiatives.
  • Providing thought leadership and influence business decisions by bringing HR expertise and insights to the table.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to business leaders and managers, providing guidance on people-related matters, including organisational design, talent management, workforce planning, and employee engagement.

Requirements:
","

Applicants must have relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a strategic People and Culture/Human Resources role. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position is required, along with a proven track record in organisational effectiveness, talent management, and change management.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage HR data and insights to drive decision-making.
  • Proven ability to plan, develop, deliver and monitor projects with evidenced success in achieving agreed outcomes and timelines.
