About The Role

This is an opportunity for a senior business development professional to join our national team of bid specialists. This role supports the firm in managing and developing competitive tenders. It can be based in any major Australian city with a hybrid working arrangement.

You will work as part of an integrated national bids team within clients and markets. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice and guidance to senior leaders on all aspects of bid strategy and management
  • Coordinating kick-off meetings, writing, editing, designing/formatting, and coordinating input from subject matter experts
  • Supporting bids teams through competitive presentations
  • Working closely with business development specialists to support high-quality end-to-end pursuit processes

You will also be supported by the firm's bids enablement team in opportunity spotting and certain administrative processes related to the day-to-day management of complex bids.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role within a professional services environment
  • Initiative, curiosity, commercial acumen
  • Self-awareness to engage positively with feedback and in continuous personal and professional development
  • Strong project management skills, with flexibility to accommodate evolving priorities
  • Excellent business writing, proofreading, and editing skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and team working skills, with the ability to develop rapport at all levels of the organisation

About You

You should have relevant tertiary qualifications (marketing, communications, PR, or journalism would be highly desirable). You must be able to quickly learn new software, systems, and processes. You should respect complementary skillsets within clients and markets and the broader shared services functions, enjoying both initiating and supporting collaborative activity to support revenue growth.
