Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Service Desk Team Leader to support our business by responding to HR and Payroll-related queries in a timely and efficient manner. The successful candidate will lead a team of Service Desk Analysts, ensuring that information is accurate and up-to-date, and contributing to an exceptional level of internal customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure data accuracy by entering, checking, and maintaining data in the system and electronic files.
  • Provide timely responses to enquiries and requests for information, producing reports and/or returning calls.
  • Contribute to a respectful work environment by valuing all people and considering cultural backgrounds.
  • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of HR Service Desk Analysts, delegating tasks and ensuring workload balance.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback for development.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and efficiency, monitoring key metrics and taking corrective action as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR or a related field, with experience in building a service desk for HR and incorporating KPI metrics.
  • Proven experience in leading and coaching a team, with in-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in HR information systems (e.g., HRIS).
Desired Skills
  • Experience in a Service Desk environment, project management experience, and training and development experience.
