Role Overview:

As a Retail Property Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding property management and leasing results within our retail portfolio. Your expertise will support our clients in achieving their business objectives while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords, sub-tenants, and clients to exceed service delivery expectations.
  • Act as the primary liaison for all communications with landlords and sub-tenants, facilitating proactive engagement for maintenance and compliance.
  • Manage emergency situations effectively, ensuring swift action and resolution.
  • Oversee work orders related to landlord responsibilities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to strategic goals.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards, environmental regulations, and risk management policies.
  • Utilize Corrigo for managing landlord works and services efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate lease information in the database, ensuring timely updates.
  • Oversee property operating expenses, including budget preparation and expenditure reporting, while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support the achievement of financial targets by ensuring timely payment of lease expenses.
  • Review monthly rent roll variances and provide insightful commentary on changes.
  • Assist in preparing regular portfolio management reports, offering recommendations on property and leasing matters.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in commercial property management with relevant real estate certification.
  • Experience in a high-volume environment with major landlords or retailers is advantageous.
  • Strong ability to manage complex issues under tight deadlines.
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving performance targets.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
