About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Asset Manager to join our team at Gough Recruitment AU. As a key member of our property and development team, you will be responsible for formulating and executing asset management strategies and plans for our retail real estate portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimize income and maximize asset value
  • Reposition and value-add on retail assets to drive quick wins and enhance cash flow
  • Oversee the overall positioning of our retail assets, including enhancement of cash flow and asset value
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets and reports, covering financial performance, leasing status, rental collection, and capital expenditure
  • Collaborate with marketing and property management teams to maximize tenant mix, devise effective marketing plans, and control related expenses to maximize net operating income
  • Manage market intelligence and collate industry information to ensure competitiveness of our products and offerings

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in retail shopping centers, either in center management or valuations, with a proven track record of repositioning and adding value to assets
  • Degree in real estate or finance, or equivalent
  • Good command of English, both verbal and written
