Job Summary: We are seeking a Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry to join the Graduate School of Medicine at the University of Wollongong. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert clinical teaching in the discipline of psychiatry for Doctor of Medicine (MD) students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching at both introductory and intermediate levels.
  • Develop and implement programs to support teaching within the rural training hub.
  • Engage clinical academic staff to support teaching across the GSM's MD rural training footprint.
  • Build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Requirements: To be successful, you will hold a Current or anticipated appointment as an Advanced Trainee/consultant psychiatrist in the Shoalhaven, Southern Highlands or one of UOW's MD rural training hubs. You must demonstrate a strong understanding of equal opportunity principles, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
