Job Title: Strategic Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Risk Management Specialist to join our team based in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney. This role will report to the Head of Risk and Assurance and will play a critical role in maintaining and managing the risk and compliance frameworks for the business.

About the Role

  1. Develop and maintain a strong risk culture across all bids and projects by engaging with bid and project teams, conducting risk workshops, and providing ongoing support and guidance.
  2. Support the development and maintenance of risk management software, including user access provisioning and management, end-user support, and training.
  3. Conduct independent operational reviews of projects to provide assurance to leadership on progression and potential risks during both mobilisation and delivery phases.
  4. Analyse key metric indicators and operational risk to identify project trends and liaise with responsible parties to understand and monitor risk management strategies.
  5. Maintain the compliance framework and programme, including conducting business ethics company and project audits and reviews on adherence to the Group Code of Conduct.

About You

  1. You will have a minimum of three years' experience in risk and compliance or project delivery, preferably within the construction and engineering industry.
  2. Experience working in a large and complex organisation.
  3. Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  4. Sound experience with frameworks and policies.
  5. Ability to read and interpret legislative changes into practice.
  6. Technically strong with ability to use initiative.
  7. Excellent stakeholder management skills on all levels.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
