The Project Officer – Corporate Services position provides critical support in the Corporation's funding and consultancy agreement obligations, reporting requirements, grant applications, and special projects under the Corporate Services banner.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess project information against program guidelines and procedural documentation.
- Draft and negotiate routine funding agreements.
- Prepare briefs, correspondence, and reports.
- Manage contractual relationships with proponents to ensure compliance.
- Assess and action variation requests, project progress, and completion reports.
- Prepare payment recommendations and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain program and project records.
- Identify project risks and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with team leaders to resolve complex issues and find innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in grants and/or funding programs is highly regarded.
- Experience in providing administrative and project support in a team environment.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to prepare well-designed external communications.
- Demonstrated knowledge in financial reporting processes.
- Strong relationship-building skills to gather information, identify opportunities, and improve performance, capability, and funding outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Financial management skills and experience in developing program budgets.
