The RoleWe are seeking a bubbly, pro-active and customer-focused Front Desk Coordinator to join our head office in North Sydney As the first point of contact for clients, suppliers and external partners, you will provide a warm welcome over the phone and in person, including triaging and troubleshooting queries and escalating to internal departments as necessary. Your responsibilities will include:
- Meeting and greeting customers on arrival, assigning visitor or security access as required
- Providing a high level of customer service for internal departments and teams via phone, email and face to face
- Proactively monitoring the reception inbox and responding to queries in a timely manner
- Managing all internal meeting rooms and related calendars, including booking requests and changes, stock levels, cleanliness
- Ordering stationery, kitchen supplies and goods
- Ensuring the reception area, kitchen and office is kept clean at all times
- Raising Purchase Orders for reception/office-related invoices
- Providing support on ad hoc project tasks
You will be based in North Sydney and join a close-knit team who are passionate about providing outstanding service and results to clients and across the business. You'll have the opportunity to learn from the best in the industry, and be nurtured and supported by your team and manager. This is a full-time position, and our office hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
The ExperienceTo succeed in this role, you'll have previous Front Desk experience and a proven track record of providing exceptional administrative support. You will also:
- Have a genuine love and interest in providing exemplary customer service and seeing problems through to successful resolution
- Be an organized, conscientious person with a high attention to detail, and the ability to plan and adjust to changing priorities
- Be a compassionate person with high emotional intelligence and be able to use your judgment to guide employees and visitors to find the information they need whilst maintaining a level of discretion
- As a motivated, self-starter, you can work independently and use your initiative to problem-solve
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders at all business levels
- Accurate and efficient typing skills, and experienced in the Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel/PPT etc.). Netsuite is an advantage
