Darwin City Hotel is a 4-star AAA rated hotel located in the heart of Darwin City. We are seeking a dedicated marketing professional to join our team and contribute to our growth and success.
The RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced marketing and sales executive to develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, sales, and business development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships
- Create and execute marketing campaigns across various channels
- Optimize all digital channels, including email marketing, SEO, online and internal partner channels, website, and social media
- Content creation and animation of social accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Product development to enhance the overall experience of potential guests
- Maintain updated content on OTA's and explore new OTA platforms
- Analyse media campaigns and rollout promotions to ensure optimum revenues are exceeded
- Build rapport with team members, influencers, content producers, and local partnerships
- Attend local social events to promote the brand and products
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant degree or previous hotel or tourism sector experience
- Proficiency in various digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and pay-per-click advertising
- Strong creative skills to create visually appealing and compelling content for marketing campaigns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting marketing messages and collaborating with team members
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $27.00 - $35.00 per hour, with expected hours of 14 - 28 per week. The successful candidate will be required to commute or relocate to Darwin City, NT 0800.
