**Electoral Policy Specialist Role**

This role is key to the development and delivery of electoral policies, projects, and submissions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing electoral policies in accordance with legislation such as the Electoral Funding Act 2018, Electoral Act 2017, Lobbying of Government Officials Act 2011, and Local Government Act 1993 (electoral provisions only).

The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications, experience in policy development and writing, research and analysis skills, and politically neutrality.

Key responsibilities include communicating complex electoral legislation to external stakeholders, planning and implementing electoral projects, and drafting communications that consider multiple perspectives.
