  • About the Role
  • We are seeking an Electoral Operations Practice Lead to support our operational system needs during election events.
  • You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating alignment and improvement of business processes and systems.
  • This includes testing, event readiness, documentation, and implementation of change initiatives and system improvements.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  1. Leading electoral operations and supporting our operational system needs.
  2. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective alignment and improvement of business processes and systems.
  3. Developing and implementing strategies to improve electoral operations and enhance stakeholder engagement.
  4. Maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in implementing high-risk, high-profile processes requiring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to strict processes and legislative requirements.
  • A track record in maintaining professional and consistent customer service in a regulatory environment.
  • Flexibility to work out of business hours during election periods.
  • Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record check result.
