Job Opportunity: Senior Complaints Officer

The role of Senior Complaints Officer is a critical component in the delivery of electoral services, contributing to the integrity and transparency of democratic processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage complex complaints through timely and thorough assessments, investigations, and responses.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including the Electoral Act 1985 and the Local Government (Elections) Act 1999.
  • Maintain accurate records of complaints and correspondence, and implement policies for triage, resolution, and escalation.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to seek advice on matters requiring legal expertise and recommend appropriate actions for referral or enforcement.
  • Develop strategies for continuous improvement of complaints management processes, facilitating informed decision-making.
