About the Role

The Service Engagement & Improvement Officer plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration with partner agencies and local councils. This position supports the development and delivery of initiatives to enhance customer experience in electoral processes.

This is a full-time ongoing opportunity that offers prospects for working on large-scale events, contributing to local communities, and advancing one's career. The NSW Electoral Commission delivers trusted systems, processes, oversight, and engagement that support democracy in New South Wales.

We are seeking a politically neutral individual with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners. You will have relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent experience in stakeholder engagement and partnerships, as well as satisfactory criminal record check results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development and delivery of initiatives to improve the customer experience in electoral processes
  • Maintaining communication and engaging with partner agencies and local councils
  • Working collaboratively with the Manager Service Engagement & Improvement to achieve shared goals
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to stakeholders

Selection criteria include:

  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and partnerships
  • Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners
  • Satisfactory criminal record check result
