The Opportunity

Talent International is supporting and managing a transformative marketplace that increases community engagement through flexible access to benefits with personalized plans and support teams.

You will be joining a national, virtual team responsible for managing and triaging participant-driven plans and complaints reviews in Richmond.

This role offers a 12-month initial term contract paying $55.24 per hour plus Super.

The Role

As an APS 5 Internal Review Case Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with participants to gather information regarding the nature and context of review requests, informing participants and their representatives about decisions, reviews, and appeals processes.
  • Undertaking evidence-based decision making as prescribed in the NDIS Act, NDIS rules, Operational Guidelines, and NDIA policies.
  • Monitoring and managing caseloads, ensuring internal reviews are completed within set timeframes.
  • Contributing to quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery practice, processes, and systems.
About You

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Develop short-term task plans and contribute to strategic planning for longer-term initiatives.
  • Support and work with people with disabilities and/or carers and family members in aged care.
  • Manage high-volume caseloads.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical skills and teamwork while dealing with complex information.
  • Evaluate complex information within legal and operating process guidelines to make fair and auditable decisions (review decisions assessable by the Administrative Appeals Tribunal).
  • Communicate outcomes both written and verbally.
  • Effectively document cases in a CRM or similar system and possess experience with MS Office suite.
  • Be an Australian Citizen.
