About Us:

Achieve Support Services is a specialized support provider that prioritizes the needs of individuals with autism and their families.

We recognize the importance of expert support staff in delivering tailored support to our participants.

Our team specializes in complex behaviour, mental health, ASD, and trauma-informed therapeutic practice.

About You:

We are seeking qualified individuals with a Cert IV in disability qualifications or equivalent.

Required certifications include Level 2 First Aid and CPR with Anaphylaxis training, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

A NDIS Orientation Module Certificate and medication management training are also essential.

Job Summary:

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be part of a collaborative team, working with adults, children, and young people with autism and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver day-to-day support to individuals with autism, adhering to their individual support plans.
  • Participate in the development, monitoring, and review of individual support plans.
  • Assist in coordinating the activities of other staff members working on autism support programs.
  • Develop resources and training opportunities to support autism programs.
  • Engage in professional development and self-reflection.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support to children receiving multiple services.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Embody company values and philosophy.
  • Ensure a safe and hygienic environment at all times.

  • Ability to relate well with children, including those with disabilities.
  • Empathy and professionalism when interacting with parents.
