Job Title

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a People & Business Partner, you will be an ambassador for our company's position in the market.

You will proactively partner with operational leaders to develop our employees and become exceptional sales professionals. You will develop, lead, and execute human resources initiatives that support employees across the entire employee lifecycle. You will communicate our unique value proposition in the market, attracting, engaging, developing, and retaining talent.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business unit leaders to understand their challenges from a people perspective.
  • Provide sound guidance on performance management, industrial relations, and employee relations matters.
  • Identify and manage business risk through leadership and support during employee relations advice, grievance resolution, performance counselling, and formal performance management sessions.
  • Act as a trusted adviser and develop robust relationships with leaders to ensure alignment between people and business initiatives and strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with leaders to identify talent, up-skill leadership capability, and develop future leaders in the business.

Requirements:

  • A relevant human resources tertiary qualification and solid human resources generalist knowledge, particularly in industrial relations and employee relations roles.
  • A return to work certification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or environment, preferably within the hospitality, retail, or FMCG industry.
