Job Title: HR GeneralistLocation: Charlotte, NCIndustry: Pharmaceutical (Required)Employment Type: Contract to HireAbout the Role:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist for an opening with a client of ours in Charlotte, NC.
This role is ideal for a human resources professional who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment and has a proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry.
The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting HR operations, employee relations, compliance, and talent management initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related matters.Support recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, and onboarding.Administer employee benefits, compensation, and leave programs.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry-specific regulations (e.g., FDA, GMP).
Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management processes.Maintain and update HRIS systems and personnel records.Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.Partner with leadership to support organizational development and change management initiatives.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience within the pharmaceutical industry (required).
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.Preferred QualificationsPHR or SHRM-CP certification.Experience with union environments or global HR operations.Familiarity with regulatory compliance specific to pharmaceutical manufacturing or R&D.
