Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our team as an Assistant Minister. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our youth ministry, developing leadership skills in members, providing pastoral care, preaching and teaching, and engaging with the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Youth Ministry: Plan, coordinate and oversee the youth program to align with our ministry goals and contribute to the broader church community.
  • Leadership Development: Participate in ministry training initiatives across the parish to support and equip lay leaders.
  • Pastoral Care: Provide supportive care to youth and young adults, encouraging active participation in church life.
  • Preaching & Teaching: Regularly preach at services, delivering clear messages that resonate with youth and the congregation.
  • Community Engagement & Evangelism: Create outreach opportunities to share the gospel.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in theology or ministry, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. They will also possess the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and be committed to ongoing professional development and growth.
