The role involves direct ministry with children and youth through Sunday school, SRE, Kid's club and youth group and developing pathways from ministry settings to the 5pm church service.

The role includes leading children's and youth ministries and discipling young people to come to faith in Jesus and take ownership of their church and be involved in the 5pm service.

The role also includes being part of a team to develop the 5pm service and involves, leading, preaching, training and developing others with the support of the Senior Minister.

The role would ideally suit a person for 3 days but there is room for a student minister to negotiate a modified role to accomodate studies.
