We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to lead our youth ministry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop meaningful relationships with young people, creating a safe and inclusive space for them to explore their faith and grow as individuals.
  • Plan and facilitate worship services, prayer times, and Bible study sessions, using creative approaches to engage youth and promote spiritual growth.
  • Mentor and disciple young people, helping them understand the Bible and live according to its teachings, providing guidance and support in times of need.
  • Foster a culture of spiritual growth by offering opportunities for prayer, reflection, and service, encouraging youth to take ownership of their faith and make a positive impact in their communities.
  • Organize engaging activities and programs for youth, including Bible studies, retreats, camps, and mission trips, using innovative approaches to keep youth engaged and motivated.
  • Create a positive and supportive environment for all youth activities, ensuring that every young person feels valued, heard, and respected.
  • Provide spiritual and emotional support to youth, helping them navigate personal issues and challenges, and offer one-on-one counseling or group counseling as needed.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise youth ministry volunteers and leaders, empowering them to take ownership of their roles and contribute to the success of the team.
  • Collaborate with other church staff and ministries to ensure alignment with the church's overall mission and goals, working together to achieve shared objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in theology, religious studies, or Christian education, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in youth ministry, with a proven track record of success and a passion for working with young people.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with youth, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate vision and strategy, and motivate others to achieve shared goals.
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to plan and manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and empower others, and make informed decisions that align with the church's values and mission.
  • Korean language fluency, with the ability to communicate effectively with Korean-speaking youth and families.
