About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Professional to join our team at GWA. As a key member of our Sales team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and expanding our customer base while promoting our exceptional product ranges.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Drive sales performance by achieving budgeted sales and margin targets within your area of responsibility.
  • Monitor and manage expenses within your job scope, reporting variances and recommending resolutions to ensure that expenditure delivers suitable outcomes.
  • Provide valuable market intelligence on competition, merchant activity, market conditions, and economic indicators to inform sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with both current and potential stakeholders, representing the company at relevant merchant and trade functions.
  • Prepare weekly sales reports outlining sales volume, potential sales, proposed customer base expansion, and competitor activity.
  • Ensure merchant displays are current and presentable, with obsolete products removed and brand equity maximized.
  • Identify opportunities for developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize sales and margin growth.

About You

We are looking for a proactive, customer-focused individual with a passion for sales and relationship management. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably within the industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical abilities to interpret sales performance and market trends.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS ERP.
