Account Manager - Perth, WA (Welshpool)

The Opportunity
An exceptional opportunity awaits for an experienced Account Manager to join our team, located in Welshpool, Perth WA.
Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will be responsible to drive budgeted sales revenue by managing customer relationships and creating and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies for the wall and ceiling partition market in Western Australia.

Key Accountabilities
- Provide the figures for the EBIT, Revenue, Volume, and ASP in the designated area
- Achieve the targets for Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
- Identify and capitalise on opportunities for expanding customer base and growing product sales with existing customers
- Negotiate sales contracts and formulate customer quotations to optimize sales potential
- Formulate and execute major customer account plans, establishing strategic approaches for business growth
- Create target lists for significant customers and devise strategic plans for business expansion.
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with key customers
- Resolve client issues and address complaints, as necessary
- Advocate for and implement National initiatives, Marketing campaigns, and New Product Development (NPD) as agreed upon
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by streamlining business processes and systems, ensuring a seamless customer experience
- Conduct competitor and market analyses
- Implement and execute customer account plans and call cycles
- Monitor customer and market activities, collecting feedback through CRM
- Adhere to Workplace Health, Safety, and Environmental (WHSE) regulations as outlined in the responsibilities matrix

- Established building products sales success an advantage
- Ability to grasp technical information enabling you to effectively talk shop
- Entrepreneurial, resilient and self-driven
- Strong motivation to build sustainable wins
- Strong administration skills and ability to self-start
- A strong command of CRM Systems and the ability to guide clients to use our digital service app
- A full driving licence
- Desirable - Formal qualification in business or experience in relevant fields
- High energy with a will to succeed
- Experienced with sales performance metrics
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a focus on the customer
- Collaboration with varied teams
- Change Management and leadership skills
- Negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills and experience
- Commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability
- Excellent time management and work prioritisation skill
