We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Roster Clerk to join our team at the Public Transport Authority. As a Roster Clerk, you will play a vital role in managing the daily operations of the Security Services Branch personnel.

Your key responsibilities will include preparing and adjusting weekly operational rosters for Transit Officers and other Security Services Branch staff on the Urban Rail Network. You will also handle payroll adjustments, ensure compliance with industrial agreements, and manage leave entitlements, ensuring the smooth functioning of staff schedules and operational demands.

In this role, you will maintain accurate payroll and leave records, process overtime information, and generate regular statistical reports. You will be responsible for managing rosters related to annual leave, long service leave, and other operational needs. You will work closely with Transit Managers to ensure that the team is effectively supported, and operational requirements are met.

About You
  • Strong experience in preparing timesheets and staff rosters for large teams, with expertise in interpreting Industrial Awards and Agreements for payroll and conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work shift work and weekends as required for a 7-day roster, with strong computer skills for data management and reporting.
