About the Role

Griffith City Council is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Administration Officer to join our team at Pioneer Park Museum. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and vibrant organization that prides itself on its commitment to creating ongoing opportunities for our growing population.

The Position

The successful applicant will have the primary responsibility of managing the operational administration of the Museum, ensuring efficient coordination of venue hire, retail operations and administrative tasks. This role exists to enhance the museum's overall functionality, drive revenue through venue hire and improve the visitor experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Museum
  • Coordinate venue hire and retail operations
  • Ensure efficient administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Enhance the overall functionality of the Museum
  • Drive revenue through venue hire
  • Improve the visitor experience

Qualifications and Experience

The successful applicant will require a Certificate IV in Business Administration or similar qualification and/or extensive associated experience working in an administrative role. A current Australian Class C driver licence is also essential for this position.
