**The Role:**
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Director to lead our team of 6 Medical Scientific Liaisons (MSLs). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership within the medical or pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on prescription products.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 6 Medical Scientific Liaisons to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow the prescription business through healthcare professionals and pharmacies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and pharmacy networks.
- Analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to maximize market penetration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership within the medical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing and leading sales teams to achieve high performance.
- Strong understanding of the prescription business landscape, including healthcare professionals and pharmacies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to travel as needed to support the team and business objectives.
