Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Virtual Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

This role will involve providing high-level technical expertise in the design, implementation, and management of virtualized infrastructure solutions.

You will be responsible for leading the support of Citrix environments, ensuring that they meet agreed-upon service level agreements. This will include remote support and on-site visits as required.

In addition, you will play a key role in the development of requirements and delivery of projects for our customers, focusing on Citrix and NetScaler technologies.

You'll be responsible for delivering technical maintenance and support services within agreed-upon service levels, while maintaining accurate technical documentation.

You will also use tools and processes to deliver services to customers, ensuring their service level agreements are met, proactively managing their infrastructure, and driving service process improvement.

  • Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops Administration and configuration
  • Citrix Netscaler Administration and configuration
  • User profile management via UPM, FSLogix, and Ivanti DesktopNow
  • Windows Server Systems Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Server technology products
  • Managing workloads and resources with public cloud environments (Azure and AWS)
  • Managing virtual environments utilising infrastructure such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Sound knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies using tools such as Veeam, NetBackup and CommVault.

Your customer focus and communication skills will be a strength, along with an ability to develop and maintain productive internal and external relationships, partnerships and networks.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll bring at least 5 years' experience as a Senior System Engineer with expertise in Citrix and NetScaler technologies.

Experience and background supporting Windows Server, infrastructure applications, and cloud technologies is also needed.
