Job Title: Senior Citrix Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join our specialist support and projects team as a technical expert in virtual environments.

As a Senior Systems Citrix Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality Citrix solutions within contracted time frames and service level agreements. You will interact directly with customers and other members of the Datacom teams to provide technical assistance and support technology-based solutions.

  • Providing technical maintenance, support services within agreed service levels;
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed technical documentation;
  • Utilising expertise in Citrix and NetScalers to scope and work on complex projects;
  • Sharing knowledge and expertise through coaching others in the team;

You will be part of our extensive technical operations business who work collaboratively across locations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience as a Senior System Engineer with expertise in Citrix and NetScaler technologies. Experience and background supporting Windows Server, infrastructure applications, and cloud technologies is also needed.

  • Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops Administration and configuration;
  • Citrix Netscaler Administration and configuration;
  • User profile management via UPM, FSLogix, and Ivanti DesktopNow;
  • Windows Server Systems Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management;
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Server technology products;
  • Managing workloads and resources with public cloud environments (Azure and AWS);
  • Managing virtual environments utilising infrastructure such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V;
  • Sound knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies using tools such as Veeam, NetBackup and CommVault.
