Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Wollongong, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to provide occupational rehabilitation services and support individuals in achieving return-to-work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client caseloads and develop personalized rehabilitation plans
  • Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for injury prevention and workplace education programs
  • Collaborate with employers and employees to develop and implement return-to-work strategies
  • Work with medical and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide support and guidance to clients with injuries or health conditions
  • Complete various assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, and identify suitable employment opportunities
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) or Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australia (RCAA) as a Rehabilitation Counsellor
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry highly regarded
  • Fabulous communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy essential for this role
  • Well-developed time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
