Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of clients and provide individualized rehabilitation plans to support their return to health and return to work outcomes;
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop effective rehabilitation strategies;
  • Collaborate with clients, employers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Provide education and support to clients and employers on workplace modifications, ergonomic practices, and return to work strategies;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and research to ensure high-quality service delivery;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs and services that meet the needs of clients and employers;
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of rehabilitation services;
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve business objectives and support the growth and development of the organization;
  • Perform other duties as required to support the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) or Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australia (RCAA) as a Rehabilitation Counsellor;
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders;
  • Compassion and kindness always go a long way as does empathy;
  • Well-developed time management skills are a must;
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must.
