About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at IPAR. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to clients with a range of physical and psychological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of clients, providing individualized support and guidance to help them achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
  • Return to Work Outcomes: Apply your clinical knowledge and expertise to develop and implement effective return to work plans, working closely with clients, employers, and medical professionals.
  • Client Support: Provide emotional support and guidance to clients, helping them to overcome psychosocial barriers to employment and achieve their goals.
  • Assessments and Reporting: Conduct a range of assessments, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments, to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, and identify suitable employment opportunities for clients.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) or Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australia (RCAA) as a Rehabilitation Counsellor.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry, with a strong understanding of the sector and its challenges.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, employers, and medical professionals.
  • Other: A current NSW Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
