Job Title: Group External Reporting Manager

Qantas Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group External Reporting Manager to lead the delivery of external financial reporting and governance requirements. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for providing technical accounting advice to the business and ensuring the accuracy and quality of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of external financial reporting and governance requirements
  • Provide technical accounting advice to the business
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of financial reporting
  • Collaborate with the finance team to deliver key information to support Group Finance, Investor Relations, and Corporate Communications
  • Build deep experience and expertise in relation to the Qantas business
  • Foster strong, positive, and collaborative relationships with the business units
Requirements:
  • Degree in a business-related discipline and accreditation with CA/CPA or equivalent
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and governance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to grasp complex issues and communicate verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and experience of delivering external reporting in a large ASX listed organisation
