About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance professional to join our Group Finance team as a Group Reporting Manager. As a critical member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the accurate and timely delivery of financial and board reporting for the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and managing the delivery of all aspects of financial and statutory reporting for the Group on an accurate and timely basis.
  • Preparing financial statement supporting schedules and disclosures that form part of the Board papers.
  • Reviewing the monthly Group consolidation and results of the Group.
  • Reviewing mandate and co-owner reporting, as required.
  • Leading and managing the external audit process for the Group.
  • Developing, in consultation with the Group Financial Controller and Head of Finance Advisory, the Group's position on the impacts of new accounting standards.
  • Developing and enhancing existing finance systems to improve the process and delivery of Group reporting requirements;
  • Preparing and coordinating financial analysis and reviewing of business performance for the Group;
  • Reviewing and maintaining documented financial control policies and procedures.
  • People management, staff development and training, this role has 1 direct and 1 indirect report.

Requirements

We are seeking a Finance professional with significant senior accounting experience, including corporate and statutory reporting. You will have a solid understanding of the application of accounting standards, general accounting practices and tax. You will be CA/CPA qualified coupled with Big 4 and/or industry experience.
