Senior External Reporting Manager

Oxygen Recruitment & HR is seeking a highly skilled Senior External Reporting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our accounting and finance team, you will be responsible for managing the financial close processes and external reporting obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support activities associated with Annual and half yearly ASX reporting, including applying accounting standards and ASX reporting requirements
  • Work closely with external auditors to support the external audit process
  • Prepare technical memos, including research and analysis of relevant technical accounting issues
  • Assist in the production of accounting policy documents
  • Prepare other financial reporting requirements for regulators, investors, and key stakeholders
  • Work on special projects, including transaction-related work, valuations, and divestitures
  • Manage a team of 5 direct reports, including relevant performance management activities
Requirements:
  • Accountant with experience in External Reporting
  • Skilled technical accountant with commercial acumen and excellent communication skills
  • Inspirational manager with experience leading a team and building relationships
  • Qualified with an Accounting degree and holding a CPA/CIMA or CA
  • Experience in the Financial Services sector, with trust accounting knowledge ideal
