About the Role

Arcadia Landscape Architecture is seeking a highly skilled and experienced People & Culture Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to our team members and line managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations: Provide expert advice and support on complex HR matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Talent Acquisition and Development: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening and experience, interview scheduling, offers and onboarding.
  • Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of our performance management cycle, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Training, Learning and Development: Identify training needs and gaps, and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Support the administration and implementation of our remuneration review cycle and total rewards approach.
  • P&C Compliance: Ensure effective maintenance of P&C data, records, and information in our HR systems.
  • Employee Engagement: Support the implementation of initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Health, Safety, Security and the Environment (HSSE): Ensure compliance with HSSE regulations, fostering a safe and secure workplace.
  • HR Projects: Support various P&C projects and initiatives aligned with our strategic plan.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualified in a HR discipline, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Work Act, HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and can-do attitude.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
