About the Role

We are seeking a People and Culture Specialist to join our team at our warehouse location. This role will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, talent strategies, and employee onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for our warehouse location.
  • Onboard new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Manage employee performance initiatives, including staff retention and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Implement and monitor safety programs to prevent workplace accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with the Payroll Officer to resolve payroll queries and manage timesheets and rostering.
  • Work with the Head of People to design and deliver training and staff development sessions.
  • Manage culture activities, including wellbeing initiatives, events, and celebrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
  • Strong experience in HR Generalist roles, with a deep understanding of HR and ER legislation.
  • A hands-on approach to HR, with excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • A genuine passion for people and a commitment to creating a positive work environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
